Suzanne's Take on the Subject

Suzanne Perryman's logic is the stuff
that responsible human beings should
promote time and time again.

It has to do with nurturing
children, an honor that has no equal.

She's a hero so emulate her.

Safety with Sparklers

Here's an idea for those with children
that may celebrate with sparklers
on the upcoming Fourth of July!

Poke a hole in the bottom of a large
plastic cup and it becomes a
"Sparkler Shield" for the little ones.
Thanks to Carla Simmons from
the Lawrence County Health Department
for sharing this tip with "Let's Go!"
Please pass it along to others.

Congratulations Hannah

This spring Lawrenceville High School's Hannah
Holmes (number 9) set a school record while competing
in the 3,200-meter run, clocking a time of 12:24.99 during

the 2013 Illinois High School Association state track and
field finals. Hannah broke her own school record with a personal best during the meet with this performance.
Congratulations Miss Holmes!

We remember when she was in Kindergarten!
Back then she loved running on the school playground.

It's no wonder that so many youngsters claim,
"Recess is my favorite thing at school."
